Koh Tao - Nang Yuan Island (Full Day)
Koh Tao actually comprises two islands, Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan, covering an area of 17.96 square kilometers. They are around 120 kilometers away from the land at Suratthani. Koh Tao has the shape of a kidney bean, for there is a large bay curved into the land in the western side. Most of the beaches are, therefore, in the west. 70 percent of the areas on Koh Tao are mountains and stony cliffs, the other 30 are flat areas. The island is 3.4 kilometers wide and 7.6 kilometers long, with 28.6 kilometer long coastal lines and 8 kilometer long coral ranges stretching into the sea
Koh Tao has 11 bays and 10 stony capes. Each beach has different characteristics: some are long sandy ones like Haad Sai Ree, Haad Mae Haad, Ao Chaloke Ban Kao, whereas the other are smaller or are stony bays instead. Koh Tao offers various flavors of experience, you could travel by riding motorcycle, boarding the taxi minibus, or hiring motorboat around the island.
